Are not sustainably prosperous people happier people?
Are not challenged communities both urban and rural? Is there not poverty and ignorance in both? Are there not also heroines and heroes wanting to improve them? Yes. Where is the leadership to accomplish this? Why can we not focus on improving the economies of both rural and urban communities? Why has the politics of re-election, now driven about hate and division, when the conversation should be about "Rising all Boats"? Are not sustainably prosperous people happier people?
How can resurrections not lead to an ability for the local residents to live better after the re-birth of their communities? (Alleviating Gentrification?) Thus, after success, those wanting success can still reap the benefits of that success? What about a local universal income for the citizens living and contributing to the revitalization efforts? Perhaps the taxes raised go back to the citizens not only in the form of police, fire, waste removal and infrastructure, but also in a local universal wage to help with rising prices of real estate, so "All Boat's can Rise".
Where is the truth about the negative impact on communities when their children go about looting and destroying the property of business owners trying to improve the community? Where are both political parties not marching together on halting destructive human behavior? Are some politicians served well by the hate and anger of their constituents when they are running for office?
Perhaps if we listened more to behavioral science experts we would not set up communities where poverty and ignorance hold down the neighborhoods into the same cycle of poverty and ignorance, which provide the anger that sparks rioting and looting?
Is it not true that working together, we can accomplish anything our hearts desire?
Is it not true that if your neighbor is also prosperous you also benefit?
How can we expand our prosperity to other countries when we can't even agree on an infrastructure bill to help our own communities prosper?
